Our Team

Barry Bennett
Barry Bennett has been active in Conservative Politics for decades. After having managed the Presidential campaign of Dr. Ben Carson, Bennet was named by President Trump as a “Senior Advisor” to his 2016 campaign. Bennett has worked in politics all over the world.
Bennett joins Tactic after having built a very successful government affairs practice in 2017. His firm represented Causes, Corporations, and Countries.
Providing strategy and execution to clients has been his forte. Helping clients understand the intricacies of the policy making process and building a plan to gain input on the outcome his mission.
Having worked in both Congress and the Executive Branch, Bennett’s experience over the years has proven immensely valuable.
Barry and his family live in Alexandria, VA.

Caroline Wren
Republican Strategist | International Trade Advisor | Business Leader
Caroline Wren is a prominent Republican fundraiser, strategist, and political operative recognized for her extensive network within the GOP and her close ties to President Donald J. Trump and his administration.
Caroline served as the National Finance Director for the Donald J. Trump for President campaign in 2020, where she oversaw the historic $1.5 billion fundraising operation—one of the largest in U.S. political history. A distinguished strategist and influential conservative leader, she has built her career supporting high-profile Republican figures and causes, leveraging her expertise in finance, logistics, and coalition-building to advance GOP priorities across the country.
In addition to her political work, Caroline has become a trusted advisor in international trade and economic diplomacy, assisting companies and governments in navigating U.S. policy, regulatory, and investment frameworks. She has played a key role in facilitating trade dialogues, energy partnerships, and foreign investment strategies, helping to strengthen commercial and diplomatic ties between the United States and allied nations.
Caroline’s career also includes senior roles on multiple presidential campaigns, including Senator Lindsey Graham (2016), Ambassador Jon Huntsman (2012), and Senator John McCain (2008). She served as Finance Director for the 2016 Republican National Convention, successfully managing the $64 million fundraising effort, and has worked closely with every major GOP committee—the RNC, NRSC, NRCC, and RGA.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Caroline graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Economics. She currently resides in Palm Beach, Florida, and Washington, D.C., where she continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Republican Party and advancing America’s leadership in global trade and diplomacy.

Soledad Cedro
Soledad Cedro is a leading political communications strategist in the Hispanic world, recognized for her impactful work across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Soledad moved to the United States at a young age, where she launched a successful career in journalism, earning four Emmy Awards for her excellence in broadcast reporting. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Political Science, which marked the beginning of her transition into the field of political communications.
Over the past decade, Soledad has built an exceptional career managing communications for high-profile political campaigns and initiatives. Her accomplishments include serving as the communications director for a U.S. presidential campaign and leading numerous campaigns across various regions.
She also played a pivotal role in the transformation of the City of Miami, contributing as the MarComms specialist during its rebranding as a fintech hub—a process widely referred to as the "Miami Miracle."
In 2024, Soledad became the CEO of CPAC Argentina, orchestrating the most successful political event in the history of the country. Today, she serves as Managing Director and Partner at Tactic, where she continues to shape political and strategic communications on a global scale.

Jose Mallea
Jose Mallea is the managing partnet of Forward Global Miami. He joins Tactic as a senior advisor, with more than 25 years of experience in the political and business world. He began his career in government, serving in the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Department of State, and as personal aide to White House chief of staff Andy Card in the administration of President George W. Bush.
Mallea served as chief of staff to the mayor of Miami and chief of staff to the mayor of Miami-Dade County. He has worked on numerous presidential campaigns and was campaign manager for Marco Rubio's first U.S. Senate campaign in 2010, which POLITICO rated the No. 1 best-executed campaign of that election cycle.
Most recently, Mallea served as the CEO of the Libre Initiative, the largest conservative Latino outreach organization in the country with operations in 13 states. He currently serves on the boards of the Education Fund of Miami and the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

Sean Reyes
The Honorable Sean D. Reyes served as Utah’s 21st Attorney General (2013–2025), becoming the state’s first minority statewide elected official and winning re-election three times.
A summa cum laude graduate of BYU and honors graduate of UC Berkeley Law, Reyes spent 14 years litigating major cases nationwide for Utah’s largest law firm, representing Fortune 1000 clients across technology, energy, finance, and sports. He later became General Counsel for a tech/media company and a partner in a venture fund investing in emerging technologies.
Named the ABA’s first-ever National Outstanding Young Lawyer (2008), Reyes has since earned numerous awards for excellence in law, leadership, and humanitarian service. He received a White House Commendation from President Donald J. Trump for defending children, veterans, and the public from threats like drugs, predators, and social media harms.
A leader in the fight against opioids and human trafficking, Reyes co-founded Utah’s Opioid Task Force and worked with the DEA to capture one of the world’s largest dark-web fentanyl dealers. He also helped create the national 988 mental health hotline and co-developed the SafeUT app, credited with saving lives and preventing school violence.
Internationally recognized for anti-trafficking work, Reyes participated in a 2014 undercover operation in Colombia that rescued 120 children and led major U.S. prosecutions, including the takedown of trafficker Victor Rax. He later co-produced the global box office hit “Sound of Freedom” (2023), inspired by missions he helped lead.
As Attorney General, Reyes chaired the Republican Attorneys General Association, co-chaired NAAG’s Civil Rights and Human Trafficking Committees, and led bipartisan efforts on cybercrime and organized retail crime. He managed a $100M annual budget and returned billions in judgments to Utah and the U.S.
Reyes has spoken at TEDx, Concordia, CES Government, Horasis, and other global forums, and serves as a fellow of the Aspen Institute and Hunt-Kean Institute. Despite deep roots in tech, he has led major national cases against large technology and social media firms over youth harm, data privacy, and anti-competitive behavior.
Today, Reyes advises companies, funds, founders, and family offices on law, policy, innovation, and strategic partnerships. A former MMA fighter and collegiate athlete, he is the son of a Spanish-Filipino father and Japanese-Hawaiian mother. He and his wife Saysha have six children.

Marcel Kaminstein
Marcel Kaminstein is an international investor, lobbyist, and leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. As CEO of AiBioTek Association and former international relations lead at BIO, he has led global advocacy efforts by cultivating space for investors in the ecosystem, shaping regulatory frameworks, and expanding access for life sciences innovators.
With over a decade of transatlantic leadership and a long-standing role on the board of the American Club of Rome, Marcel has convened industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to advance global partnerships, particularly in Italy. His work bridges diplomacy, innovation, and investment that bring alignment to the mutual goals of global health and technological priorities.

Mercedes Viana Schlapp
Mercedes Viana Schlapp is a leading communications expert, political strategist, and media commentator. She has worked at the highest levels of government and non-profit organizations where she focused on managing communications teams and implementing strategic messaging.
Schlapp was Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications to President Donald J. Trump and served as Senior Advisor for the Trump campaign in 2020. She implemented a successful bilingual Hispanic communications and political outreach campaign and created and produced the Team Trump online programs for the 2020 Trump campaign. Schlapp has extensive media relationships in the English, Spanish, and international press.
She is instrumental in expanding the communications and social media footprint of CPAC, supporting the international CPAC efforts, and launching the CPAC Center for Combating Human Trafficking.

Charlie Greener
Charlie Greener is a political strategist who has helped drive winning federal and state campaign efforts, leveraging expertise in trade policy, voter engagement, and strategic messaging. He played a key role with the Trade Works for America Coalition, advancing support for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement by shaping public-facing policy messaging through district-specific opinion pieces and coordinating grassroots advocacy in priority congressional districts. Charlie previously served with the Republican Party of Tennessee, where he managed a statewide field team, led hiring and staff development, and supported strategic communications and data-driven turnout operations across the state.
He also served as Northern Virginia Field Director on Ed Gillespie’s gubernatorial campaign, directing field operations inside the Beltway, securing key straw-poll victories, and driving high-impact voter engagement in one of Virginia’s most competitive political regions. Following the election, Charlie joined the Republican National Committee, where he supported federal-level voter targeting and turnout efforts, applying a disciplined, analytical approach to political communication and campaign execution.
